Import sources overview
Swishy pulls content from four sources. You can run any combination — most brands run all four.

How often Swishy imports
Section titled “How often Swishy imports”- Your own feed: polled every few minutes.
- Mentions: real-time via Instagram webhooks.
- Hashtags: polled on a schedule (because public hashtag search isn’t available as a webhook).
- Manual uploads: imported the moment you drop in the file.
Deduplication
Section titled “Deduplication”If the same post shows up via multiple sources (e.g. your own post that also uses a tracked hashtag), Swishy stores it once and records every source that surfaced it.
Volume and limits
Section titled “Volume and limits”Your plan sets a monthly import cap. The Swishy admin shows current usage under Settings → Plan & usage. Auto-imports pause when the cap is hit — manual imports still work so you never miss the one piece of content that matters.
