Quickstart
This guide gets you from zero to a working AI seller on a product page. Most stores finish in under 15 minutes.
1. Install the Swishy Shopify app
Section titled “1. Install the Swishy Shopify app”Install Swishy from the Shopify App Store and approve the required scopes. During install, Swishy syncs your full product catalog — titles, descriptions, images, variants, and pricing.
2. Connect Instagram
Section titled “2. Connect Instagram”Inside the Swishy admin, open Settings → Integrations → Instagram and log in with the Facebook account that owns your Instagram professional profile. This lets Swishy:
- Read posts, reels, and mentions from your business profile.
- Post approval comments on your own media when you request rights (see Consent).
3. Pick what to import
Section titled “3. Pick what to import”Swishy imports content from three places:
- Your own Instagram feed — posts and reels from your brand profile.
- Tracked hashtags — hashtags your community uses (e.g.
#yourbrand). - @Mentions — content where your brand is tagged.
You can tune each source in Import sources.
4. Review and approve content
Section titled “4. Review and approve content”As content flows in, Swishy’s AI matches each piece to products in your catalog. Head to Content → Library to review matches, approve them, and — where needed — request rights from the creator.
5. Turn on the AI seller
Section titled “5. Turn on the AI seller”Open Storefront → AI Seller and toggle it on. Swishy injects a chat-first seller into every product page. It uses your catalog, approved UGC, and your brand voice settings to answer questions and close sales.
